Dress Warmer
While I ❤️ fall, I was hoping that we would have a few more days where the temperatures were in the late 60s to 70s, but here in NWI, it’s already in the 50s … we’ll, what can you do about it? Dress warmer!
Flannel Shirt Sailors
In our bio, I mention that we’re ‘the flannel shirt sailors’. Of course, we wear bathing suits, tank tops and flip flops in the summer, but up north in the Great Lakes our summer season is only July, August and September. Before and after that, we must wear much warmer clothes when out on the lake.
The simple comforts
Thank goodness for flannel! I love wearing flannel shirts – it’s like a warm blanket, comfortable and comforting. I was first introduced to Duluth Trading Co. by Kyle’s parents who live in Wisconsin, and told us about the US-based company with superior quality and durability of its clothing line.
It’s my Fave
My favorite shirt, which happens to be flannel, was purchased several years ago from Duluth Trading Co. – you may have noticed it in many of our pics on the website because it’s my ‘go-to’ working shirt. I can’t say how many times I’ve worn and washed the shirt, but it’s still held up very nicely.
Brand Marketing
Just recently I purchased a new thicker flannel shirt that matches the Zeke Life brand colors, and I can’t wait to break it in more while working on SV Zeke E Boy and out on Lake Michigan this fall! You’ll be seeing me a lot in this shirt – especially this time of year!

What’s “Wag Your Tail” Wednesday? It’s when I highlight things I love so much that if I was Zeke, I’d have a helicopter tail! Almost as good as meeting a chipmunk for the 1st time!
