No Peas, Please
This was our 1st meal that Kyle cooked on the new stove on the boat! We were trying to find a 1-pot dish for simplicity, and while it is very easy to make, we used 2 pots on both burners to cook the dish. Kyle found the idea for the recipe in one of our many feeds online somewhere, but we modified it by adding my preferences for veggies and his preferences for spices. Even as an adult, I do not like cooked carrots, peas or asparagus*. Unfortunately, these are the types of veggies often found in pasta dishes so Kyle graciously modifies the recipes to accommodate my palate.

PRINT RECIPE
What you need:
- 1 pkg. hot pork sausage
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- mini farfalle pasta
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 head of broccoli
- 1 tsp. Cooking oil (we used coconut oil)
- Garlic powder to taste
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Italian parsley (optional garnish)
Steps:
- Prep veggies – cut broccoli into small florets + small dice onions.
- Cook pork sausage until done (~20 min).
- Cook pasta following instructions.
- Combine all ingredients along with a little pasta water to cooked sausage for ~15 min.
- Garnish with sprinkle of Italian parsley and serve.
Estimated Time:
~ 40 minutes prep + cook time
* I think that my dislike of these vegetables stems from childhood memories of remaining at the dinner table for hours after everyone else finished their plates.
