The SIMPLEST Solution
For the last #solutionsaturday of July, while we’re still talking about things to do during the dog days of summer and making sure you have the ending to the perfect beach day, I’m going to share the SIMPLEST solution that Kyle gave me. It saves me headache, pinched fingers and frustration every time I end a day at the beach!
I’m going to teach you how to close a backpack beach chair. Sounds simple, right?!? Well, just remember, you’re tired . . . and probably hungry. You may not be thinking straight from dehydration and sitting too long in the sun. Sometimes, simple tasks can be difficult!
Are there really 7 steps?!?
Don’t let yourself get frustrated – or even hurt from pinched fingers again. Plus this option keeps your beach chair from getting more wet and sandy by throwing it down to close up. I usually save closing the beach chair for the last item of my beach day clean up. So you can try this simple method to close the backpack beach chair and go!
Steps:
Step 1: Stand in front of the chair.
Step 2: Hold it with one hand on the top of the chair.
Step 3: Push it backwards so the front bar is off the ground and it’s leaning on the back bar.
Step 4: Step on the front bar using 1 foot, and push down – push it together.
Step 5: Snap the clasp together.
Step 6: Brush or rinse the sand off in the water.
Step 7: Put it on your back, grab the rest of your gear and GO!
Estimated Time:
Less than a minute, but a lifetime of frustration saved!
EASY, PEASY! No pinching, no fighting, no sandy messes, no frustration! Now, you really have NO excuses to not take a beach day!
