Notable Places, Experiences & Events
Kyle wanted to redeem himself leaving the dock after last time, and he did very well. We passed a beautiful boat right at the pinch point of the entrance in NB harbor. Kyle navigated wonderfully and we had plenty of room.
We had a great sail out on the lake – again very calm and very little waves. It’s odd because I don’t remember this many calm days last year – especially so early in the season.
It was a busy day on the lake – there were a lot of other boats, so coming back in was a little different story. This time another very large boat was not giving us room. I’m up front running “PR” so I smiled and waved … Kyle held his ground and eventually the other boat went wide. He had more room than he thought, but he just wanted to push us up high.
Anyway, we made it without incident, and the best part, we celebrated with our 1st dip in the pool and hot tub 🍻And a great dinner at Casey’s (YUM – truffle fries!)
