Notable Places, Experiences & Events

We decided to push ourselves and take SV Zeke E Boy out on a beautiful Saturday!  Surprisingly there wasn’t too much boat traffic leaving the harbor – only a few fishermen and several rental boats.  We saw a disabled sailboat in the harbor, but they looked like they knew what they were doing so we didn’t offer to help … not that there’s much we could do.  (Turns out the boat got working again and was part of the Saturday morning races with the New Buffalo Yacht Club.  We did not join in)

There wasn’t anything too memorable for the day – other than it was beautiful and not too lumpy.  We made it back into the harbor and the channel with no issues.  Of course, there was a lot of boat traffic, but it seemed that everyone was patient and waiting their turn to exit very civilized and in a line.  Woo-hoo!
