Notable Experiences, Events & Places

It’s Splash day!  Got in the water and engine started up right away.  We left SJ, called the bridge operator right away, and everything went smoothly.  River flow was manageable.   There were drudgery and I had to yell which way to go.  The lake was moderate breeze but cold and got colder throughout the day.

We barely saw any other boats – except fisherman and 1 other sailboat but when we are close to NB entrance – all the sudden there were 4 boats all converging at once but Kyle navigated very well and we didn’t get stuck.  Depth was 8′ under keel at the entrance.   Shallowest spot was 7′ when we turn down our 1st channel.
